Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Proof Hunter, including the mobile app, website, notifications, community features, and related services (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Quickhop, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (“Proof Hunter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Proof Hunter, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy describes what information we collect and how we use it. Please read it — it is part of how the Service works.
Who can use Proof Hunter
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. In the United States, that means you must be at least 21 years old. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you will comply with all laws that apply to alcohol in your location.
Proof Hunter is not intended for minors, and you may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so by law.
What Proof Hunter is and is not
Proof Hunter is a community app for sharing bottle sightings, shelf photos, observed prices, store references, timestamps, ratings, and related information. Proof Hunter does not sell alcohol, process alcohol purchases, deliver alcohol, reserve bottles, verify inventory systems, broker transactions, or act as a retailer, wholesaler, marketplace, or delivery service. Proof Hunter is for hunters, not flippers — for finding bottles to enjoy, not to resell.
Any sighting reflects what a user reported at a particular time. It is not a quote, offer, reservation, advertisement by the store, or guarantee that a bottle is available, authentic, legal to purchase, accurately priced, or in any particular condition. Always verify details directly with the store and follow local law.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for activity that happens under it. Keep your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly at proofhunter@quickhop.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, automated, underage, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.
Subscriptions and payments
Parts of the Service are free. Proof Hunter also offers an optional paid subscription, Proof Hunter Pro, which unlocks additional features such as a wider alert radius and expanded hunt-list capacity. Pro features may change over time as the Service evolves.
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment under its own terms; we never receive your full payment card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel anytime in your device’s subscription settings (Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial-period refunds are owed by us.
Refund requests for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies — we do not process payments and cannot issue App Store refunds directly. Subscription prices may change; if the price of your subscription changes, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to agree before the new price applies.
From time to time we may offer free trials, promotional pricing, offer codes, or complimentary Pro access. Any additional terms presented with an offer apply to that offer. If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, your access to paid features ends with it, and any refund is governed by Apple’s policies.
Founder’s Club and promotional programs
We may run promotional programs — such as the Founder’s Club — that award perks like badges or a complimentary period of Pro based on community contributions. Eligibility is determined by us under the criteria published for the program. Sightings that are fake, fraudulent, automated, or otherwise in violation of these Terms do not count toward program criteria, and we may withhold or revoke awards obtained through them.
Program perks are personal to your account, are not transferable, and have no cash value. Complimentary Pro access granted through a program lasts for the stated period. Founder badges and similar recognition remain attached to your account for as long as the Service operates and your account remains in good standing.
Your sightings and content
“Content” means photos, bottle names, prices, ratings, notes, store references, comments, reports, profile information, display names, leaderboard activity, and other material you submit, upload, or generate through Proof Hunter.
You retain ownership of your Content. By submitting Content, you grant Proof Hunter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, analyze, and otherwise use that Content to operate, protect, moderate, improve, promote, and develop the Service. This includes showing sightings to other users, generating community signals, creating aggregate statistics, supporting leaderboards, improving bottle recognition and anti-fraud systems, and using screenshots or examples in app-store listings, marketing, support, and public product materials.
You promise that:
- You have the right to submit the Content, including any photo and information shown in it.
- Your sighting is honest. You actually saw the bottle, shelf, price, or store condition you reported at the time you reported it.
- Your Content does not violate anyone’s privacy, intellectual property, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
- Your Content does not include private personal information about store employees, customers, hunters, or other people without their permission.
- You will not submit Content in exchange for undisclosed payment, compensation, store benefit, brand benefit, or other incentive.
Photos and public places
Only submit photos you are allowed to take and share. Do not photograph people in a way that invades privacy, harasses them, exposes private information, or violates store rules or applicable law. We may crop, blur, remove, reject, or restrict photos at our discretion.
Leaderboards and community signals
Proof Hunter may include community features such as state leaderboards, badges, rankings, contribution counts, timestamps, or other reputation signals. These features may display your display name, general state or region, contribution totals, and related activity to other users or to the public.
Leaderboards are for community engagement only. They do not create employment, compensation, prize rights, ownership rights, or any guarantee that rankings will be accurate, permanent, or available. We may change, reset, remove, or exclude leaderboard activity to prevent abuse, correct errors, or protect users and the Service.
Store and brand references
Stores, brands, products, venues, and business listings shown in Proof Hunter are referenced for informational purposes only. Unless we say otherwise, they are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or responsible for Proof Hunter.
Store information may come from public business listings, user submissions, third-party data providers, or our own moderation. Store owners and brand representatives may contact us at proofhunter@quickhop.com about listings, corrections, takedown requests, or mis-cataloged products. We reserve the right to approve, deny, edit, remove, or retain listings and sightings at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
Acceptable use
Do not use Proof Hunter to:
- Submit fake, misleading, manipulated, automated, paid-for, or undisclosed sponsored sightings.
- Harass, threaten, shame, expose, or dox hunters, store employees, store owners, customers, or anyone else.
- Promote underage drinking, drunk driving, unlawful alcohol purchases, illegal resale, unlawful shipment, unlawful transport, or any other unlawful activity.
- Scrape, crawl, copy, reverse engineer, abuse, overload, interfere with, or attempt to break the Service.
- Resell, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit sightings, location signals, store data, bottle data, or community data without our written permission.
- Use the Service for surveillance, tracking individuals, compiling sensitive location profiles, or identifying a person’s private movements.
- Upload malware, spam, offensive content, illegal content, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
We may remove Content, adjust rankings, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate access, or take other steps at our discretion to enforce these rules and protect the integrity of the Service.
Usage limits
To protect the Service, control costs, and keep community data trustworthy, we may set, change, or enforce limits on any feature at our discretion. This includes rate limits, daily caps, and similar restrictions on photo submissions, sighting reports, searches, alerts, API calls, and other activity. Limits may vary by feature, account, usage pattern, or subscription tier, and may change without notice. Exceeding a limit may result in requests being delayed or rejected, and repeated or deliberate attempts to evade limits may lead to suspension or termination.
Moderation and reports
We may review, moderate, remove, restrict, or preserve Content and account information when we believe it is appropriate to operate the Service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, respond to reports, prevent fraud, protect safety, or preserve evidence. We are not required to monitor all Content and are not responsible for user Content submitted by others.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, stores, products, services, or listings.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PROOF HUNTER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, CURRENT, COMPLETE, SECURE, LEGAL IN YOUR JURISDICTION, OR ERROR-FREE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROOF HUNTER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PURCHASE DECISIONS, STORE DISPUTES, OR ALCOHOL-RELATED CONSEQUENCES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Proof Hunter and its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person’s rights.
Termination
You can stop using Proof Hunter at any time and request account deletion from inside the app or by emailing proofhunter@quickhop.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including rights to submitted Content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute terms.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Knox County, Tennessee, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any program- or offer-specific terms we present to you, are the entire agreement between you and Quickhop, LLC about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; you may not assign them without our written consent.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app, on the website, or by another reasonable method. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
